At NSK Car Rental the minimum rental period is one day. In case of a delay in a collection without previously informing us, hourly charges may apply (1/5 of the daily rate) and every hour in excess of the contract is calculated at 1/5 of the daily rate.

 

Please book cars by category (A, B, C, etc) specific models cannot be guaranteed. In case of no availability from this car group, another car will be supplied of the same value or more.

 

How old do I have to be to rent a car and what do I need?

Qualification: renter's or driver's minimum age is 23 to 76 for groups ABC and 25 to 76 for cars of other groups.

Driver's License: a valid driver's license held for a least one year is required. We accept original driver licenses for EU member countries and the UK. For all others, an International Driving Permit is required

Extra Driver: One extra driver free of charge. For the 3rd driver a charge of 3 euros per day.

 

What do I need to know about traffic fines?

Traffic fines: Tickets and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of Greek traffic law during the rental period are borne only by the renter.

 

Do you provide insurance?

Insurance: All vehicles are insured against liability to third parties for death or injury or property damage.

Fully comprehensive cover (c.d.w.): for the real value of each car and also fire and theft insurance.

 

What do I need to know about taxes and fuel?

Taxes: All rates include 24% tax.

Fuel: Fuel used during the rental period is payable by the customer, Our policy: However you receive it is how you return it back.

 

Do you provide baby seats and free delivery?

Extra equipment: Baby seats or booster is free one per car.

 

Delivery-collection?

Delivery-collection: Free Accommodations and Hotels within our station areas, offices in Roda, Acharavi, and Agnos,

Corfu Port Terminal and Airport delivery 25 euro extra - each way.

 

What do I need to know about availability, Border crossings, and Ferry crossings?

Availability: car models are according to original planning. The delivery problem, however, may compel us to supply another vehicle in exceptional cases.

Across-the-border rentals: customers wishing to drive the car out of Corfu must have a special permit from the renting station.

Plus an extra charge is required for road service for the mainland. (Rate varies according to vehicle category). The mainland fee covers the cost of the road service for the duration of the rental.

Ferrying the car: cars cannot be ferried without a special written permit.
